CUSTOM SESSIONS

Built For You

How does the process work?

1. Online or Form

You can either book your session online for one of my island packages or reach out through the contact form if you’d like something more custom. I’ll help plan the perfect session based on your vision, location, and timing.

2. Confirm Details

For online bookings, your date is confirmed once payment is received. For custom sessions, I’ll send a short proposal and contract, and you’ll return them with a 50% retainer to officially reserve your day.

3. The Big Day

It’s finally here! Expect laughter, movement, and a little dancing on my part as we capture genuine smiles, island light, and joyful moments to last always and forever.

4. The Photos

Your edited images will be uploaded to a private online gallery for viewing, downloading, and sharing. You can also order prints, canvas, or wall art directly from your online gallery to enjoy your memories for years to come.

FAQ

To-Do Suggestions

• Comfort first. Choose outfits you can move in; restrictive clothing will show in the photos.

• Maternity tip. Long, flowing dresses look incredible in the island breeze.

• Add personality. Jewelry or accessories add a unique touch.

• Makeup helps. Even minimal makeup smooths skin tones and adds vibrance.

• Hair prep. Beach winds are real—bring hairspray or ties for long hair.

• Coordinate colors. Bright tones (coral, cobalt, yellow, fuchsia, purple) pop against sand and sea.

• Group sessions. For reunions, each family wearing a different color palette helps each group stand out.

• Sunscreen. Apply reef-safe sunscreen early to avoid tan lines or sunburn.

• Relax. Be yourself, have fun, and enjoy the moment—the best photos often come from natural movement.

To-Avoid Suggestions

• Short dresses/skirts (limit posing options).

• Khaki or muted tones that blend with the sand.

• Busy patterns (keep to one person per group).

• Solid black or solid white (hard to capture detail).

• Overly matching outfits (coordinating looks more natural).

After Your Session

How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
• Most galleries are ready within three weeks of your session. If I expect delays, I’ll let you know.

Do you deliver every image you shoot?
• No. I remove duplicates, test shots, out-of-focus images, or unflattering expressions to deliver only the best.

Editing & Retouching

What is the difference between Touch-Up and Post-Edit?
• Touch-Up: Applied to every image. Includes color correction, exposure adjustments, tone, clarity, and black & white conversion.
• Post-Edit: Reserved for your chosen favorites. Includes advanced retouching such as blemish removal, smoothing skin, taming flyaway hairs, and removing distractions like snorkelers or boats.

Do you touch up all images in the gallery?
• Yes—all delivered images receive Touch-Ups so your collection is polished and consistent.

Do you post edit all the images?
• No. You’ll choose your favorite images for Post-Edits. This way, you decide which photos get detailed enhancements since you know your own smile and features best.

Weather & Rescheduling

• Our island weather can change quickly, but most showers pass within 5–10 minutes — it’s rare for a session to be completely washed out.
• If light rain or clouds roll through, we’ll usually wait it out or adjust slightly to keep your session beautiful.
• In the unlikely event that conditions make shooting unsafe or truly impossible, we’ll reschedule for the next available time that works for both of us.
• Retainers are non-refundable, as they reserve your date and time, but they will be applied toward your new session if we reschedule. Weather-related changes are always handled personally and with flexibility.

Every sunset fades, but your memories don’t have to.

Let’s capture them—always & forever.
